Australian Shepherd Traits
They are typically outgoing, friendly, some can be shy, reserved around strangers. Aussies are the happiest when they are interacting with people, especially their family. As long as they are given enough activity and stimulation, they are sweet and loving dogs.
Aussies bond strongly to their families and so can be territorial and overprotective.
They can become destructive if left without companionship for long periods, too often.
I have found most Aussie's love to bark and chat.
Fortunately, that loyalty combined with the breed's keen intelligence and high energy makes them very easy to train.
The coat on an Aussie is called a double coat. They require combing weekly, to prevent shedding.
Aussies need lots of indestructible toys, healthy meals and treats, training, naps. Structure is key to you and pups success!

Australian Shepherd Puppy
We start potty training at four weeks with a potty box in the whelping area. Five weeks we have daily outside activities, going thru doggy doors, not eating my free range chickens, getting stung by my bees, noises, scents, leash work, play, bonding and more potty training.
You can expect to train your puppy till adult!
Then expect to refine those skills for life!
Aussies are smarter then us! Most don't realize new Aussie owners need training, too!
Puppies are up to date on all shots, worming, docking, dew claws, and wellness visits.
Vets Health Certificate
All Parents Have Embark Health & DNA Genetics On Them.
Puppies covered for the dogs first two years for any genetic diseases.
Tails are Docked & Dew Claws Removed
On third day of life.
People that want the tails or dew claws a non-refundable $400 deposit on your puppy pick, this is required prior.

Puppies come with our two week easy transition complete Canine Nutrition Program. Everyone loves this, especially the puppy! This and so much more all listed on my Good Dog Site or only a phone call away. Our goal is healthy canine puppies that grow up and get old without medical issues. We presently only have two pairs of adults all four dogs are all champion titled.
